When I press the back button the page flashes as though there's a quick refresh, not that it's an issue.sionascaig wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 10:32 pmKeep getting a file not found when hitting the back button...

I think that could be a 'feature' of the new theme. We are going to play with it a little more over the next week.
The main purpose of the upgrade was to bring up the underlying code to the latest version and ensure we had closed off any loopholes that could be used if the site was attacked again. There may be some slight changes and a couple of things that didn't port over correctly. But anything reported, we will have a look at.

Just to confirm, the site outage at the weekend was another completely new attack on the site and not related to the forum update. The forum update was separate to this and, as well as applying an upgrade with a views to further upgrades and features, improved the security.
The update actually went pretty well, but the timing of the latest attack seemed a little suspicious.
We took the opportunity to upgrade the web site again, so any future attack has to have evolved significantly again to be effective. Given the nature of these attacks, we can't rule out further attempts, but we are going to do everything to keep the site up and as stable as possible.

Got to say, the response from the community and industry has been great.
We have had a number of expert users come forward and Betfair and Smarkets have also offered help. So, as a small site in the scheme of things, we are very grateful for all the responses.
We will take the opportunity to build a bigger and better site going forward and it just motivates us as a team to do an even better job in the future of everything we are involved with.

Is there a way I can get the ‘new posts’ back on the right side of the forum?Euler wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 7:34 pmOn bringing back the forum we make need to do a couple of minor tweaks around the edges, so let us know if you see somethings that don't look quite right.
You may find you have been forced to move away from your default theme, to move back click on this link: -
ucp.php?i=165
Edit: found it on the top left, but previously was a simple button underneath ‘your posts’ on the right side showing me all the new posts since my last visit to the forum. I found it very handy, but I guess I will just have to nagivate from the top left correct?
