Found the discount criteria that begins 1 March.
It seems these rates are applicable to Aus based customers with those based in other countries not changing your discount unless advised otherwise.
Based on commission paid to Betfair over prior 3 month period and reviewed each 3 months.
Discount : if commission paid
10% : $3,000 to $6,000
20% : $6,000 to $9,000
30% : $9,000 to $15,000
40% : $15,000 to $35,000
50% : $35,000 +

Does anyone have any info on what the old VIP criteria and discount tiers were.

I am non-VIP although apparently I was going to qualify soon and have been in 20% discount tier for last 6 or so months.

My understanding is that Betfair Australia is severely restricted by local Australian regulations in the different States (and Territories) from promoting increasing bet size. Publishing discounts is hence a no no and why it is all way more secret squirrel 🐿 than would otherwise be the case.

If that is true Gazuty then again i have chosen the wary route and not the trusting route.
My thoughts of being stoic and - 'controlling what i control' - get overridden by scepticism.
I hope that Betfair are happy to reward the commission generators...

My commission rate has barely moved, nsw greys has stayed at 3% and all other states including thoroughbreds have only gone up .6% from yesterday (I imagine SA horses has stayed at 3% too).
