New 'Active Sports Topics' Link

As the forum continues to grow and people want to discus and post about a wider range of subjects we have decided to add a new 'Active Sports Topics' link to the page header to allow users to see the topics and discussions they are most interested in.

This new link will display only the active topics relating to Sports and the Bet Angel Angel software, the existing 'Active Topics' link will continue to work as it always has and display all active topics.

Depending on which forum skin you are using in your 'board preferences' area the new links will appear as shown below

Should help keep people focused on key markets and allow people who don't want to view other stuff an easy way to exclude it.

We can manage threads this way as well.

Not sure if the exclusion link is working. Still getting some drivel when Home next to Refresh is pressed

At the moment you need to click, or bookmark the link to exclude. But if you highlight other areas we can look at those in due course.

If the consensus is that a thread is misplaced we can move it from one area to another.

If you mean the previews shown on the desktop tab within the software that still going to show all active topics,
but once you've clicked the 'View Forum' button and then the 'Active Sports Topics' link you can then use the refresh button to only refresh that page

I can probably change that also, hadn't thought about that.

If you could change this button to toggle between "Active Topics" and "Active Sports Topics" so only the relevant threads associated with each group appear it would be ideal.

Might just be me but when you switch between "Active Topics" and "Active Sports Topics" the heading always reads "Active Topics"

Same with me, they forgot to edit the page.

But what's happened to the "most active topic" info in your user profile?

The last time I looked mine was Today's Racing. I was a bit worried the rant thread may have overtaken it now that I don't trade racing as much but the info's disappeared!

Force of habit of posting in the 'Other Betfair Sports Trading Section', but I've moved the topic to the new non-sports trading area now so once thats updated it won't show under 'Active Sports Topics' now and also moved the posts unrelated to the show to a political topic
