Yep, that's me done until Boxing Day

Greetings to all, hope you have a good day

I'm playing host to my 93 year-old Gran (this might be more difficult than finding a 20 tick swing!)

Hey how about setting your Gran up on a blind date with someone I know in Preston>??! That will keep her busy over Christmas! :D

That sound mighty tempting (and it's not like I have any other offers!), but I think I'll pass... :)

Hi Jeff
A girl I I used to work with was on Match.com, she was inundated by response and decided to date 14 men in 14 days...The shotgun scatter effect..
After about 10 or 11 days she met someone she really liked, he is bank manager and a nice guy, (although she said that she wouldn't have necessarily chose him if it had been in a crowded bar), anyway they now live together after 4 years of being together..and are very happy!!
Maybe worth giving it a try Jeff, nothing to lose??

Anyway all the Best everyone for 2011.
I've learned a ton of things in 2010, many things off you guys and really looking forward to 2011..Happy New Year everyone!!

Regards
Peter

Hi Peter

I've previously tried Match. The only real difference between it and Plenty Of Fish is that you pay for it! :) But thanks for the suggestion.

I get the impression with dating sites generally that, if you're a reasonably young and attractive woman, you'll get loads of messages (even though lots of them will be from creeps making crude suggestions!). But I think that guys get relatively few messages.

All the best for 2011!

Jeff

I wanted to just say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody but, seeing as it is so easy to offend people nowadays (whether it is meant or not), I met with my solicitor yesterday, and on advisement, I wish to say the following:

Hello friends,
Please accept, with no obligation (implied or otherwise) my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2012, but not without due respect for the calendar of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our mother country Great Britain (not to imply that Britain is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the particular wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms :
This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/him or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. The wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher .

Best Regards (without prejudice)
