When I add a large number of markets (e.g. 1500) into Guardian, a large number of markets are blank under the 'Markets' column and they do not update. The start time remains on them and automation rules apply to them but don't trigger. Is this a result of software limitations or is it a bug?

If you are using streaming you are limited to 1000 markets by Betfair, once you've subscribed to the maximum 1000 markets the rest you have in Guardian will not receive any updates from Betfair until you remove some

I didn't know the 1000 limit was only for streaming. If I switch streaming off then what is the limit on one guardian?

If I'm running say 5k markets, would you advise 10 guardians with 500 markets each, 5 guardians with 1000 each, or 1 guardian with 5000 markets without streaming? Which would give best performance/quicker triggers?

I don't think there is a limit when polling, but to go through 5000 markets using polling its going to take over 15mins to refresh each market once, so providing your PC is powerful enough to handle multiple instances of Bet Angel you'll always be better spreading them out and putting 500 in each, that way they'll all be refreshed once every 1:40mins

Thanks for the info. I'm running it all on a mobile i5 processor on an old all-in-one. It struggles but just about keeps going. 24/7. Poor thing will no doubt give up at some point...

put "limit refresh" to the time frame you need for faster refresh times
