Hello all,
Can someone please explain how this is possible. I am in practise mode. I lay a bet with $100 liability, it gets matched. No greening, no stop and no profit target, happy for it to be a winner or a loser.
The runner loses but the return is zero yet on other races the stake is the profit. I just had one operate the other way, runner wins, no loss.
It happens frequently, what am I missing here.

If you're in practice mode you can't win or lose whatever happens because you're not placing real bets.

I can only suspect you are having a laugh at my expense. Even in practise profit and loss is shown.
In any event I have now sorted what was happening so I will actually delete the post.

I think I realised what you meant by the time I finished typing that but I decided to submit it anyway.

It is happening again even though I thought I had it sorted. Below are the logs for the same race on two practise accounts. Different profit result.
Can someone explain how this is possible.

Both examples that returned 0 were partial matches - maybe practice mode treats this diff from a P&L point of view - either way it really doesn't matter as its meaningless. In live mode you may not have been matched at all..

You say they are partially matched but it states in the log that they are fully matched, so what do you mean.

I was assuming you were running the same bot under both instances (so the lay amounts should be the same).

If it looks like your bot is laying under the right conditions, move to live mode with min stakes.

You won't have this problem in "live" as the forum would be flooded with posts if there is an issue. Test mode only takes you so far...

Those two bets were placed a whole second apart, the money available would have been different, hence different results.

Are both PC's running the latest version?

There was a bug in the V1.59 beta which stopped it from getting the win status and P/L from a closed market all the time.
It was fixed before V1.59 went on general release but if you still have an earlier version of V1.59 on that PC that would explain it
