Hi,
I'm having problems with my PC's. My main one has been sent aware to be repaired and I dont know how long it is going to take.
In the meantime I'm back using an old desktop (about 10 years old) and I'm having problems with the cpu running at 100%.
I've done a complete clean reinstall of windows and updated all the relevant drivers I can think of but it is still running high with Bet Angel running at up to 70% CPU usage.
Now I'm not suggesting this is a Bet Angel issue, I know its local to me but I'm at a loss as to what to try next.
Any suggestions as to what I could try would be appreciated.

Sounds like your desktop is toast. You've done all the logical stuff wth the software. But if the hardware is on the way out there's nothing you can do about it unless your are able to swap out components, but that requires a lot of effort and buying a new one is simpler. I've been there and learned the hard way.walshy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 3:55 pmHi,

Try uninstalling any programmes you do not need. Also do not use Google Chrome while BA is on as it eats up memory.
