Amazon is an interesting proposition as it's effectively a category killer in old retail terms. But in modern terms, it may be a channel killer.
I'm surprised that they haven't been picked up for predatory pricing, but that's a difficult thing to prove. But that's more or less what Amazon has done. Difficult to compete against.

I like their latest moves into healthcare. If I were the owner of a pharmacy I would be looking to sell up and get out before they get Amazon'd.
Trying to compete with them on distribution of medications will be neigh on impossible.
