Hi,

can anyone recommend any decent books for a novice about trading in general. I am guessing that it is probably more important as a sports trader to understand the markets and market trends along with the various volume charts that assist the trader etc than it is to understand the sport that you are trading. As such wondered if it may be beneficial to try and get to grips with finance/stock market trading?

Regards,

For markets driven by sentiment, here's 3 decent articles imo:

"What is auction market theory?": https://www.tradamaker.com/what-is-auct ... et-theory/
"Build better strategies": https://financial-hacker.com/build-bett ... d-systems/
"Process vs Outcome": https://www.smbtraining.com/blog/enhanc ... vs-outcome

can recommend squares & sharps, suckers & sharks by Joseph Buchdahl
Its less psychological book than most books i see recommended and more relevant to what actually makes a winner in the betting markets
the math parts were quite advanced for me but for sure improved my understanding
