Meme stocks are roaring again. Just bizarre, it's clear a lot of people haven't a clue what they are doing.
I wouldn't class hedge funds as 'a lot of people'. Thankfully it's a smaller bunch of incompetents.

I think it's interesting to see how each generation gets caught up in these sorts of things. Price action isn't an investment, it's pure speculation. But every ten years or so I see a different sector or theme develop where people seem to think they can defeat fundamentals. But fundamentals ALWAYS play out in the long term. Short term the market is a voting machine, long term a weighing machine.

Absolutely, and the fundamentals here are astounding, very little debt, $1.2bn cash on hand for the expansion.

The leadership team is now an all star team, plus the little matter of becoming one of the most recognised brands in the world, with a huge, extremely dedicated customer base.

Forget the squeeze, we are looking at the next Amazon.

If I was CEO of a meme stock, I'd pump the buyers for as much cash as I could and build a new business.

I'm surprised at your attitude here Peter. You position yourself as a well researched and open minded trader, but it's apparent you have only skimmed the headlines of the GME story.

Start with learning a bit about Ryan Cohen and his approach to business so far and what GME are doing with blockchain.

Economic reality always dawns later, rather than sooner.

Surprised there are funds still sloshing around after the recent Terra-Luna debacle....

Don’t really know too much about it tbh… I’ve not had an interest for crypto (assuming it’s a crypto thing) so I only catch the equivalent of a sound bite every now and then.

Didn't miss much, just another wild west crypto-crash story. The guy behind it on the run in South Koreas somewhere.
