We might end up worse than Venezuela at this rate.
Look on the bright side, if the pound collapses we'll all be multi-millionaires. :D

The general consensus amongst economists is that reversing the budget and reconsidering would stop the crisis. The downside is that it would cause Truss and Kwarteng a little embarrassment and give comedians a few jokes to crack so it's not feasible.
I reckon secretly they know the next election is lost, so just make some even richer at the cost of wrecking the economy leaving Labour unable to do anything when they in government.

Number 10 deny any link between the "mini" budget and the plunging pound or BoE's intervention. This is better than partygate.

Unnamed Tory MP: I thought Boris' cabinet was the worst in history, this one might have just beaten it.

Interest Rates at 6% will lead to huge mortgage payments increases. Thousands could lose their homes

Some of us made allot of money in the 90s due to lots of house repossessions. I got my first house £37k below market value.

There are always winners and losers every decade.

I don't have a pension but the thought of people's pension pots needing rescuing by the BoE or being in the hands of this pair of clowns is quite worrying. I thought the fraudsters were bad enough!
