definitely going to get lambasted for this, but i'm quite pleased to see all the artificial *benchmarks* for a civilised society going down the pan (the ftse, the dow and now oil). maybe we (or to be exact - the younger generation) can now look beyond these constructs that benefit a few at a cost to many.

i've always been of the opinion that any society is just a few turns away from a road that could be avoided - for those interested in some of the history of where we are now i recommend reading William Dalrymples latest book (The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of the East India Company) : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VPR8LS1/ ... TF8&btkr=1. it charts the course of said bunch of sociopaths and more or less leads one to conclude that this period is where it all started to rot...

anyway, purely my anachic opinion... your's may vary :D

There'll be such a glut that when C19 calms down a bit we'll have to have some fake scientists warn of 'Global Cooling' to encourage us all to burn a bit more.

A positive for me out of today is that its exposed the cogs of the commodity markets, so many people will just see it as falling oil prices but for some it offers an insight to what wasnt known about how they work.

Is this one of them "Art of the deal" story's? I do wonder how many oil producing states are Trump voting states.
