I've just bought a litre of sunflower oil from Lidl.

Shall we start the bidding at £80?

Had prior warning on GQT a couple of weeks ago.

They were talking about sunflowers and mentioned who's the worlds largest grower so I put 2 and 2 togther and ....forgot to buy any

Vegetable oil is a good enough alternative, but I needed to top up my deep fat fryer and didn't want to mix it up.

Vegetable oil is a good enough alternative, but I needed to top up my deep fat fryer and didn't want to mix it up.

Rapeseed oil too is very good. No overbearing flavour and high flashpoint like Sunlfower oil.
Oh crap! Have I just started a panic buy?
No matter we've got loads and long term can produce loads more.
We just need to import some more Ukrainians to help. I think that would be quite easy!

Or perhaps they're too embarrassed to mention the budget after their last budget front page.
