Hi All,
Although I've been betting for many years I'm new to the Bet Angel software.
Based on a couple of videos I'm using an Automation to lay a selection in a race which then attempts to 'offset with greening'. As I'm opposing a selection is it possible to green up (if the situation arises) where the profit is on everything other than the selection, and the selections profit/loss = 0?
For example, in a greyhound race, if laying trap 1, and then successfully greening up my profit loss might look like this:
T1 £0.50
T2 £0.50
T3 £0.50
T4 £0.50
T5 £0.50
T6 £0.50
But given that I've opposed trap 1 on the basis that I think there is value in doing so, is it possible to 'green up' more like this:
T1 £0.00
T2 £0.60
T3 £0.60
T4 £0.60
T5 £0.60
T6 £0.60
Thanks
Ken

Thanks Dallas, that's great info. If I understand correctly that would work OK for one cycle of the rules but couldn't be done repeatedly by automation, or at least not easily?
Thanks again,
Ken
Thanks again,

It could be done as many times as you want providing its the same selection, you couldn't have two with a £0.00 P/Lgetagrip68 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 3:00 pmThanks Dallas, that's great info. Thanks again, would that involve having a lay bet rule on the selection (By Liability (Back & Lay)) followed by a back bet (By Liability (Back & Lay)) after the first rule has triggered?
If that's correct I think I'll have to do some tinkering in practice mode!
Cheers
