Hi to all,
I've implemented cashout system as well, but I got a problem. I can't place bets under 0.5€ so this make impossibile a full cashout with no more exposure on market. For example if I had to place a bet of 1.23 to exit from the market this is impossible by betfair limitation. But how is possibile that other software (bot I've used before) permit to bet less than 0.5€.

Actually I place a bet at price that ensures the bet would not been taken, after success I cancel part of the order, after again change the price and bet will be settled (if price didn't change). How can I bet less than 0.5€ like other software, or like betfair do?

I've attached a screen, first back bet "Pareggio" was placed by software, after I request for a cashout from software and a lay "Pareggio" has been settled, but for prevent system failure I had to round size by 0.5, so total cashout is not possible.

My english is quite bad, but I hope you will understand the problem :)
thanks

That is more or less how Bet Angel and other trading software place sub minimum bets

They do it in 3 parts but so quickly you don't see it when watching on screen
1, place a £2 min bet (or currency equivalent) at well outside the the price ie, at 1000.0
2, cancel the excess not needed
3, move the remainder to the original price to cash out/green up

On rare occasions if cashing out in play due to the in-play bet delay the price might suddenly hit 1000 and match all your minimum stake before part of it has been cancelled and the remainder moved.

To do that manually on Betfair you'd first need to manually calculate the stake needed at the current odds to cash out, then do the steps above but by the time you'd done that you'd miss the price 99% of them time and have to start again

You've left out 1a, increase the £2 bet to include your actual intended bet. ;)
