Hi,
I use excel for all my bets.
Problem is i have 5 rounds of bets so it looks like this
Place bet 1
Clear cells
Place bet 2
Clear cells
Place bet 3
etc
So i end having to start 40 sec before off
So from my understanding i can place my 5 bet conditions as 5 seperate Automation rules and then assign to each race and they can in effect all trigger at the same time eg 5 sec before off.
Can someone help get me started. How do i create a simple -
If horse 5 has a projected SP of 30 then place an SP bet with limit of 30 for $5
Transferring to automation
RTFM !

Ok i'll take it as it does mean that. I understand you older pros get frustrated with newbies. Was definelty looking for quicker help instead of going and learning myself. But all good. Hopefully it doesnt put other newbies off as more liquidity and new money i would of thought is beneficial to the pros.
I'll trial and error through the manual.
So looking into it deeper.
Is there a way to lay horses through automation where the stake is always the same
eg lay a 50 -1 for 1 stake (liability 50)
lay 110 -1 for 1 stake (liability 110)
So the liability will change based on the projected SP.

Anbell with automation can you create a condition that puts a bet on every runner for example at the same time and they will all trigger.
Is there a limit to how many actions automation can do at the same time?
Eg
Back horse 1 if
Back horse 2 if
Back horse 3 if
Etc for every runner triggered at 5 sec before the off?

You could setup an individual rule within the rules file for each selection using the 'Applies to selection' drop-down box that's at the bottom of the rules editor once you select the 'Place Back Bet' rule type.
Then within the parameters section specify the individual criteria that you want to trigger on that selection and have the 'arm trigger at' set to 5 seconds before the off. Just remember to have as quick a refresh time that you can within Guardian as if you have multiple markets loaded and a slow refresh then the timeframe to trigger the bet may well be missed.
I did once come across slowness when I had getting close to 100 rules set in one file but that was me piss-balling about with an idea that had a fair amount of stored values been set at the same time.

I am trying to get below to Lay all selections that have a projected SP >380
Rule type - Place lay bet
Applies to - Any selection
Condition - Current (Any selection)
But it is only laying one selection even though there were 4 runners that met that criteria.
