Anyone know the default settings for "Dynamic Connection Tuner" and "Connection Smoothing" for the server edition of BA?

These are the defaults for the standard edition (I think), but perhaps the server edition is different?

Has anyone any experience of messing with these settings?

If you turn off connection smoothing you can pull in the tuner a bit tighter. It's complicated, but they control how quickly BA fails a command sent to the BF without a response.

If smoothing is on full, BA is very tolerant of a poor connection to the API, off means it doesn't attempt to do anything clever.

The tuner should be set on as low a setting as possible, but not too low or it will just time out too quickly depending on your connection. Too high and it has no effect on a decent connection.

Is the default setting for server edition the same as standard?

I have just installed both and the default is set to 10 mysterious units on both of them.

Since one is on a machine a loooong way away from the data and the other is on a VPS that's on it's doorstep, I guess I can make some adjustments there.
