Hi,
Could you please help me on the below?
I'm laying a selection for £10 before the off with "By Liability" staking method and wants to back it up in in-running if the selection trades below the price 1.8. Here also, i'm using "By-liability" to back for £10.
In the Guardian, I have used the Automation Rule- "Back the Selection In-Running-if 1.8" attached herewith and in the 'Automation Nominated Selection 1", I have selected the layer which I have laid before the off.
For some reason, it is not getting triggered though the selection trades well below 1.8. I have tested this yesterday on UK racing and this morning on SA and AUS racing in practise mode to test it.
Please advise me in right direction on the automation file or correct the baf file so I can simply download and import it to test it. I have given below the screen print of log file for few races this morning.
Thank you in advance.
Regards
KK

Back the Layer in running if the price is < 1.8
Thank you Dallas, for your help
.
It is now working as expected. Thanks a lot.
To enhance it further, If I lay more than 1 selection, say 2 or 3 selections pre-off and wants to back them all in-running with varied back prices on each selection like I have given below.
For example:
Selection A < 1.6
Selection B < 1.8
Selection C < 2.0
As I was following forum, I come to know, I can run 3 instances of Bet Angel + guardian with the same Automation rule at the same time. But, it will show detrimental effect on my virtual PC performance and it may lead to so much confusion since it will be on horse racing, not football. So, what needs be done on the same automation rule file please?
Thank you in advance.

You don't need to open 3 instances of Bet Angel, doing it that way and placing bets in each instance plus having the rules files applied will only slow things down and create a lot more unneeded effortkanne wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 2:02 pmThank you Dallas, for your help.

It can all be done using the same rules file, however depending on how you are laying the selections manually it may get a bit more complicated and require servants on your one-click screen to pass information to your guardian rules file does get.
If you always lay the horses at the same price then that makes it easier for the guardian rules file to trigger the correct bet on the correct horse, but if you lay upto 3 horses at random prices each market you will need another way for the Guardian rule/s to know which horse each is to trigger on. And thats where servants come in.
If you describe exactly how you are betting, the odds, horses etc you are betting on that will enable m (or someone else) to guide you to the best solution
Thanks Dallas for the feedback.
While maintaining the "By-Liability" staking capability/method, I would like to lay two or three selections each for a tenner from the One-Click screen. Going ahead, though, I will manually adjust my stakes for each selection based on my bankroll and the horse's form. This is essentially where I have complete control over what I trade on. To ensure dynamic pre-off odds for each selection, I would read the form before laying them.
I need them to support them in the event that their prices are shortened in-running so that my rule is activated, as there will be a variety of odds and stakes while laying. Naturally, I do not want them to be abbreviated for financial gain.
Thank you

So what you basically need is 3 Servants (or however many runners you may back), and each servant would have a 'Set/Modify Stored value' rule, which stores the value (shared) of an 'Entered Amount' on a selectionkanne wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 5:24 pmThanks Dallas for the feedback.

For each servant you'd use a different value (ie, 1, 2 3, 4 and 5)
You then place you bet on the runner on your one-click screen, then start a Servant on that runner triggers the stored value rule
Your five Guardian rules (or however many runners will be the max you bet on per race) will then each use a 'Stored Value Condition' and look for an entered amount equal to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5)
So that the correct rule triggers corresponding to the bet placed on the one click screen and the value set by the servant
