Hi,

Can you lay at SP,but only if the SP is equal to or greater than a previous stored value price?

Thanks

Paul.

How would you know what the SP is before it's the SP?

Hi,

Say 5 minutes before race by automation I lay at 10 ticks more so a horse at 10 would be a stored value
Of 15.I want to lay this horse but only if the SP is 15 or higher.

It's very close to the ltp*, place (or cancel) a TakeSp bet at 1.01 or 1000 as that LTP moves in and out of your range, when the flag drops you've got your sp bet at the price (or very close) to the price you want, or not.

And if you want more sophisticated, adjust the sp stake according to the latest expected SP or if your liability changes due to additional matches. And set a threshold on the amount the stake has changed so you don't rack up too many transactions. It works well, I have an Auto SP hedge y/n in my automation configs and you could do the same logic for straight sp bets not just hedging.

* over thousands of selections it's about 1/4 of a tick above the last mid price.

So you don't know it until it's reconciled, but it's damn close.
