Can someone confirm the actual FoK process for me please. Is the kill process initiated by Betfair or Bet Angel? If it is BA then for example, if I have a FoK of 1 second for an in-play market presumably the FoK time is calculated from when BA receives the bet id back from Betfair therefore making the actual FoK time just over 1 sec? In the same instance if I had a FoK time of 0 seconds then the bet would only be active for just over 0 seconds on BF?
Hope that makes sense - thanks - Dave

It must be a BA initiated thing, the Betfair fill or kill works as expected. Ie if it's not matched on arrival it gets cancelled immediately and never goes to 'unmatched", it's filled, or killed. The BA' fill or kill' is more of an auto expire. But I don't know what it calls T-0. A cancel instruction isn't instant either so that time would need to be added /subtracted. Iro 140ms I think but that probably tmi

From BA v1.62. Suggests that instant kill is managed by Betfair?
Instant Fill or Kill
Bet Angel now supports the concept of 'instant fill or kill'. To use this, set the fill or kill delay to 0 (can be used manually or via Automation or Excel).
When a bet is placed using this setting, it'll match the portion of your stake that is available at that moment on betfair and immediately cancel the rest. This saves the fractions of a second during cancellation that would normally occur due to internet latency (matched bet response from Betfair + cancellation request being sent from Bet Angel). So instant fill or kill is appropriate when you don’t want your bet to remain on offer to the market for a period of time. Regular time-based fill or kill operations are unaffected by this change.
