Been down a few rabbit holes trying to work this one out. I'm trying to set the stake in Parameters based on different odds ranges of a runner, i.e. odds < 2.00 = £5 stake, odds 2.02-3.00 = £3 stake, etc.
There is a 'Stored Value Stake' under Parameters, but I'm not sure how to set it up in Stored Values.
Of course, it can be done using Conditions, but if I have a bunch of rules in the rule file, and I want multiple odds ranges it makes the file very large and a bit messy.
Thanks for any input.
Using Stored Values for Staking
Not exactly what you want but would book percentage meet your needs?tees wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 10:06 pmBeen down a few rabbit holes trying to work this one out. Book percentage is where your stake gets multiplied by 1 / price so for £10, £5 would be staked at 2, £3.33 at 3, £2.50 at 4, etc.
A ha... Yes, Derek that works, and could/would/should (not sure which atm) be more efficient. That's brilliant, and so simple. Thank you.Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 10:17 pmNot exactly what you want but would book percentage meet your needs?tees wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 10:06 pmBeen down a few rabbit holes trying to work this one out. You could try that, or if you've got the price in an SV you can bet directly with that SV.
