hi guys,

can you give me some advice.

I have set up some automation for scalping and has been working well. However every now and again it fails to put the lay bet in? Its when it doesnt get matched straight away, when it does finally get matched it does not put the offset bet in. Would placing a fill or kill for 1 second help with this. Also i dont want to fire in mulitple bets, i just want it to fire once so if i use fill or kill then it wont fire another bet in, It only seems to do this when it matches straight away. Thank you.

I've merged them altogether, I must admit it confused me last night when I looked at one and thought I'm sure I posted a reply earlier which I now couldn't see, but never checked to see if there were multiple threads with the same title

Maybe one of the reasoning could be when your bet is trying to place in the market the game is suspended and vice versa with your exit. Football suspensions are very common through 90+ mins and often for no reason or something as stupid as a gust of wind has blown a player over which is rather frustrating for everyone.

Kudos to you and anyone who automates football trading.
