Is there a reasonably reliable way of anticipating the actual off time for races? I have an idea which would involve betting just before the actual off.
I wouldn’t have any liabilities at the time so the consequence of getting it wrong would just be a missed opportunity.

I was using "going" as an intention to do something not as the act of leaving or departing. A few emails when Cheltenham has calmed down not an office visit.MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 10:28 pmask them why we can't bet on irish greyhound races.

You could ask them ? If I was missing out on 6 grand a month then I'd be in a tent on their doorstep with pre-prepared speech about why it would be in their interest to do it.
