Hi ,
I have been using the scalping the cross- overs bot. I set it up from following the guide on bet angel blog and it was all working well until I noticed that in some races that one of the selections hadn't greened up. I was lucky it some races where the horse didn't win but in the last race it did and I lost £47. Can you please advise how to fix this and what I have maybe done wrong in the set up process of the bot
Thanks
Scalping the cross-overs
I usually get it to green up twice just in case the first one is unsuccessful. I space it about 5-10s apart depending on how close you are to the off.
Then as an extra bit of protection in case both greens are unsuccessful you could have a rule to take SP on all unmatched bets

Thanks.
At the moment greening is set to arm twice, waiting 3s before rearming. Greening starts at 8s before start until 1s before start time. I'll maybe change it to trigger 15s before start with 5s rearming so that greening happens at least 10s before start. Thanks for your help

Perhaps it didn't green up because the cycle didnt hit that market within the set timeframe?
How many markets do you have loaded, and how quickly are they refreshing? If you have 500 markets loaded at 200ms then it will take Guardian 100 secs to cycle through every market.
Change it to 20ms and it will take only 10 secs to cycle through. And/Or use the "restrict refresh" option to reduce the number of markets cycling to within a set time period.

As Andy said, get it to take SP.andy28 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 9:07 pmI usually get it to green up twice just in case the first one is unsuccessful. I space it about 5-10s apart depending on how close you are to the off.

Taking SP is much more efficient than greening anyway , youre getting a better deal
On the scalp the cross overs bot how do you add the rule I can see in the drop down menu "take the SP all unmatched bets."
Is this an extra rule you add in to the main bot and do you still keep the rule 'green all selections'
Sorry , new to all this and learning all the time
Thanks

Yes if you want to green up, keep them just insure that the take SP is set to trigger after the last green up rule. Say your last green up is 5s before the off set the SP rule at 1s before the off.
Just be aware that this will stop you from losing all your liability but it can still be costly. An extreme example may be you lay at 4 and it comes into SP of 3 and your stake is 10 then you will lose 10 if it wins and noting if it loses, so you will have a 33% chance of this happening.
But as said above check your refresh rates

Could you point me to the thread where this is discussed and they talk about building a bot?Anne wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 3:13 pmHi ,

viewtopic.php?t=11557 is the thread Anne was referring to I believe.
Bet Angel has advanced a lot since Dallas gave us that bot though, there's now options for stored values or signals that could be incorporated into it to make it work in different ways.
As always though, Dallas just creates the skeleton of the bots, it's up to the user to put the brain in it, skin and muscle on it and give it it's own character
