Just reading Amazon are wanting to trial Amazon Air Drop for the 1st time in the UK in my home town of Darlington

It's little wonder the country is where it is, Amazon have invested millions into the town already and the dinosaurs are in uproar because of a few drones

Amazon have listed out and demonstrated amongst a few things:

They are proven safer than cars by some distance
They have collision detection technology
They are environmentally friendly
They are quieter than cars by around 20db and won't be heard n the air

The arguments are they are unsafe and will kill people, to noisy and not environmentally friendly, people have been on Google already threatening to prosecute them if they come within 500ft above their property    Couldn't make this s@it up

There's a drone delivery company in my area called Manna Drone. They do deliveries from local fast food places, medications, coffee, ice cream and that kinda thing. You hear them particularly during the weekend when people try it just for the novelty and while there is a noise, it's nothing deafening or prolonged like someone using a chainsaw or lawnmower all weekend.

Ironically a chap out mowing his lawn got hit by a piece that broke off one a while back

At the end of the day people hate change, even if it's for the better! It's an inbuilt human instinct.

As they tap away on their smartphone on a wifi connection flying along at 600mph somewhere over the Atlantic, while watching a movie.

People just love moaning.

Air drone deliveries have been very popular in Ukraine as well but they've been deemed far from safe. They deliver grenades, bombs, death and things like that. :)

Got home from work and there was a delivery waiting - an air drone I ordered for the missus! Sadly it was delivered by a man in a van, not a drone.

That makes perfect illogical sense - these things are dangerous and can kill people therefore they must fly even higher so will cause more damage and greater risk of injury or death if one drops out the sky

They'll soon discover drones are restricted to 400ft and below by the CAA
Then find out even if they own their own property they only own the land and the building/s on it, they don't own or have any rights to any of the air space above it :D
