I think I know why it is not in the log,

If you go to the SV rule for the o/u 2.5, and then go to the "stored values" tab, at the bottom of the page you will see a box "note value in market log".........it needs a tick !!!!
I meant to do it, but must have missed that one, sorry

I've been testing this for a couple of weeks now and it's doing exactly what I wanted it to so thanks once again for all your help, it's much appreciated. I have multiple instances running at the same time as sometimes games overlap and I wasn't sure if the stored values would work correctly but it seems to be working ok.

Stored Values can only be read within the same instance as they were set in, so you are never in danger of having them conflict when using multiple instances.

I'm now wrestling with another conundrum on a football strategy. I have a stored value for the % book of the home team price which according to the trigger log returns 50.000 for odds of 2.00 which is fine now I know the result format. I have another stored value which does the same for the away team book %.

How do I add another rule which divides the home % by the away %? I've tried adding another rule but the first section I have to state which selection this refers to when in this case it's both teams.?

Once I have this stored value, I want to divide this value by the home book value and place a bet on the draw if this calculation is within certain parameters?

So, you have two store values, lets call them home and away,

create a third stored value, call it home/away,

store this new sv with a stored value "home"

adjustments.......Divided by,

another stored value.........."away"

Then do what calculations you want to do to the new SV "home/away"

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas for a bot especially if they include the use of the new Stored Value features in V1.52 which is now in beta on this forum feel free to add them here.

I'm not offering to do a bespoke bot with loads of conditions and parameters for individuals, I'm just looking for general suggestions on setting something up along the lines users may be struggling with

After using an automation of my own laying in running I tried to add a loss recovery If i lost previous race brain hurts now. A few days back I downloaded your "lay the first to trade @2 in running" and again been trying to add loss recovery, reading your posts from years back I know your views on loss recovery but Id like to give it ago, Ive tried strored value settinsg but cant get my head round it all, its maybe my age nearer 70 than 60, so can you adivce what I need do to add loss recovery to your bot?
first time ive posted and had trouble finding where to post as well.

There is an example here you can download which keeps a tally of your daily P/L, with that you can create a loss recovery either if a previous bet losses or you are in a loss for the day as a total

BTW, just to make you aware loss recoveries are not recommended by anyone who trades full time successfully, there's a whole section dedicated to it and why they don't and can't ever work plus a lot of stories from those who did try and ended up losing there banks so tread very carefully if implementing one, at best you'll waste a lot of time that could be spent elsewhere, at worse you will lose quite a few quid
