would be great if the API Call "DisplayMarket" could also set/change the "Grid Layout" und "Custom Column Profile"

You can achieve that already by chaining features together - using a Servant and Keyboard Shortcuts.

i.e.

• You can use Shortcuts to 'select a One Click grid layout' and 'Select a Custom column profile' and assign both to the same shortcut.

• Then you'd create a Servant that uses the 'Display a Market on a Trading screen' rule type and on the parameters page configure it to 'Trigger a Keyboard Shortcut on the displayed screen' (using the shortcut that you previously defined).

• Finally via the API you use displayMarket and then startAutomationServant to trigger the servant that will run your keyboard shortcut

I've downloaded the exe file. I accept the suggested store location, but then the installer stops responding. If I try again I'm told the msi is in use by another application. I've tried turning it off and on again, but still the same.

Should the previous version be uninstalled first, and if so, are my custom settings safe?

No you shouldn't need to uninstall the previous version, but you won't do any harm if you try that. All saved layouts, settings, automation rules etc are held elsewhere so will remain intact if you uninstall. You said that you turned it off and on again.... make sure that's a Windows 'Restart' rather than just a Shutdown. The Restart is a more complete reboot of Windows.

That is what I am doing at the moment, but it ain't working stable / reliable. I have several "One Click Screens"-open at the same time and a busy API running. This seems to f... it up. not the biggest problem, but would be nice if this could be added at some point.

Another question: When you use the "API" to Set a Stored Value the Rules-File "Stored Value Changed"-Condition doesn't recognize the change as happened within the selected time frame. Or is this just me doing something wrong?

I just tested it here and it's working fine, so send us some screenshots into the Support inbox and we'll try to spot what is wrong.
In my test case I had a rule that was running on a market on EVERY selection that would write an Alert message to the log when the value of a SV 'TEST' was changed between 10 and 20 seconds ago. Then I used the API test harness to set the TEST value on one of the selections of the market, giving it values of 10, 11, 12 etc. Each time I changed the value, the log item was written 10 seconds later, as expected.

Any chance we can have some visual upgrades? At least some different fonts to choose from.
I know it's only window dressing but compared to some other platforms it looks really dated.

One minor suggestion I have would be to keep a separate link for beta version documentation (e.g. of the API).

I spent about half an hour trying to get guardian/v1.0/displayMarket to work, before realising it isn't implemented
I probably should have checked here first, but assumed the docs were for the production version of the product.

Yes, that's a good point, we'll see what we can do next time.
We don't usually have such a big time gap between beta and general release, but in this case we were waiting to integrate an optimisation before release.
