Placing a Bet at BetFair SP using Automation

I want to place BFSP bets on named runners at 'x' amount of seconds before the off using the automation feature.

I've had a look and from my limited experience it seems like its not possible using automation?

My question to the experts out there....is it possible? If so how?

Yes it can be done you need to create two rule types to do it.

Rule Type
"Place Back Bet"
Arm at 00:00:30 (or whatever time you want the bet to be placed)
till 00:00:10
trigger 1 re-arm 5 secs
Applies to "Guardian Nominated Selection" 1

Parameters
"Fixed odds" 100.0 (or any odds well above current trading price)
Stake (what ever you want)

Conditions
None


Now click on the green plus icon to add another rule type

Rule Type
"Take SP on all unmatched bets"
Arm at 00:00:09 (or any time as long as its after your bet above has been placed)
till 00:00:02
trigger 2 times re-arm 3 secs

Parameters
None

Conditions
None


If you wanted to place a Lay bet to take at Betfair SP it would be done exactly the same way as above except you would use

Rule Type
"Place a Lay Bet"

Parameters
"Fixed Odds" 1.01 (or any odds well below the current trading price)


Now just pick the runner you want to apply it to each rece from the "Automation nominated selection 1" column on guardians main page
