Tory party tends to be pretty ruthless when it comes to removing leaders who are unelectable, unlike Labour at times. But shes only been in the job a month and removing her now would make them look even more chaotic.
Not if they get Jesus Christ, aka Boris Johnson to replace her. His followers believe he can walk on water, arise from the dead and feed the nation with two balls of cheese and 5 bottles of wine. :D

Someone should build a concrete confinement structure around him

Joking aside it's like a traditional west end farce.
Comes to something when I read an article by Gordon Brown on the subject in the Grauniad and agree with every word. :-(
In fact, over the last two days have been the closest I've seen to rabid tabloid ranting from the Grauniad I've seen in my life.
But I can only agree with every word.
I'd like a more positive counter view of Truss/Kwarteng if anyone can come up with one.
But I think they're both detached from reality and either thick or blindingly arrogant.
Jeez, it's worse than "Yes Minister" and "The Thick Of It" combined.

Hopefully, someone will make a comedy of the last two year's events.

Truss is going to pledge today to build a new Britain. Sounds as exciting as Laurel and Hardy building you a new house.

I think we're gonna hear a lot of "we haven't made a decision on that yet" or "we will make a decision in due course", until the next election.

Bring back Jim Hacker and Sir Humphrey Appleby. :D

I can visualise the horror on Sir Nigel Hawthorne's face as Truss/Quasi tell him their plans.

Can someone please explain to her that growth ad infinitum is actually impossible.

I'm just glad she's stepping up to try and repair the damage done by 12yrs of Tory rule.

Here's what's moving on up. Mortgage repayments. Interest rates. Rent. Prices. Energy bills. Food bills. Oil company profits. Bankers' bonuses. NHS waiting times.

Here's what's moving on up...
Did Mr Gove start the sing-a-long?

You've done me wrong, your time is up
....
Move right out of here, baby, go on pack your bags

Just who do you think you are?
Stop actin' like some kind of star

... all together now..... Lalalalala.

Maybe they meant to play the Primal Scream tune, those lyrics would have been better?

I was blind, now I can see
You made a believer, out of me
I'm movin' on up now
Gettin' out of the darkness

It was an odd choice of song for her to come out to when you see all the lyrics !

She's still banging on about cutting taxes. They seem to be the only two words she knows!

Truss says her changes will disrupt. At least that's one thing she got right. :D
