Something very serious it seems is being anticipated, Biden is hosting a virtual inauguration apparently so it leads my mind to wonder (doesn't take much) what the hell is going on.

There is a guy on youtube who is from the US & ex military (he says) who tracks activity in the sky through flight radar apps & last night there were loads of C13s in and out of DC, military aren't there for show, only thing they don't seem to have on the streets of DC right now are tanks.

Pretty sure the inauguration will go ahead as planned. Anything less would be giving in to these nutjobs and would just embolden them further.

The Secret Service obviously think there is a very real threat to the new president. They are fully responsible for his security so it will have been them who advised a virtual inauguartion. It basically means they cant gaurantee his safety. Which is rather shocking!!

Are you being serious? The virtual inauguration is down to Covid-19. It's widely expected that the mob will realise they have no chance of creating much havoc in DC with the level of security so they'll focus their resources on the other states.

Any country where civilians are armed is a warzone, unless they have a stable government. Sadly that's no longer the case in the US.

I'd like to have a handgun and AK47 myself, but if everybody else is allowed to be armed it's not much use.

It's not just Biden that's been doubled. His security detail has been doubled while his real bodyguards are now threatening the Trump evidence givers to withdraw their statements.
