It wouldn't be something that would suprise me if that is/was the letter left. I wonder how long it's gonna take before the name Trump leaves the daily media.... If it actually happened it would be to the right of the Republican party, maybe the progressives on the left could form their own party and give Americans an actual 4 way choice instead of an ultimatum every 4 years
I actually think that's a good idea, the two party system seems a bit odd to me, especially considering just how much the political landscape is changing. Much of what we have witnessed has happened before, attempted insurrections, bitterly partisan politics etc. The US experiment has thus far survived it all. (This bit about amnesia is a general comment about the state of commentary on US politics at large and not directed at any forum members.)
