Lying former chancellor, Kwarteng, claims he warned Truss to slow down after his disastrous budget. This must have been before he said, "we've only just started, there are more tax-cuts to come". :)

The quotes at the end of the article sound like they were either written by him personally, or they're written by the worst shower of arse-lickers possible. Maybe both.

If Truss had any self-respect she wouldn't have attended the Cenotaph as a former prime minister.

Dominic Raab. Probably most famous for being the chief negotiator for the withdrawal agreement with the EU, then voted against it in parliament. A man who literaly could not agree with himself :D

Angela Rayner asking Raab to apologise over the bullying complaints. Wait until he's found guilty first, FFS!

The Daily Mail were jumping for joy after the Kamikwasi budget. Tomorrow's headline is: And there was me thinking we voted in the Conservatives.

We did vote in the Conservatives, hence the mess we're in. :)

I don't see what option we have, whoever is in power.

Pandemic, government borrowed to pay people to sit at home.

We have to pay it back somehow.

The first step would be abolishing in-work benefits (£30bn+) and forcing employers to pay their own wage bill at an appropriate level. What sort of free market economics is it that props up businesses with taxes?

It really baffles me when Tories dismiss an idea because it's not Conservative. Fascists would do the same because it's not fascist, and likewise racists, because it's not racist. Surely not being Conservative is a good thing. :)
