According to you that's because of people on benefits, rather than 13 years of Tory ineptitude.

When did I mention benefits ?arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 4:57 pmAccording to you that's because of people on benefits, rather than 13 years of Tory ineptitude.
Just take a look at your happy easter thread. If anyone feels isolated it's certainly not Sionacaig or me.Crazyskier wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 2:25 pmKeep trying though, Emmson - I only have two reprobates on my ignore list thus far (Derek and Sionascaig), and they are feeling a little lonely...
CS
That literally did make me lol.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 4:55 pmCan't believe no one called you out for this, you absolute plebian. Dangling it like a threat, as if anyone gives a shit if they are on your ignore list or not, lol.Crazyskier wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 2:25 pm

CS
But CS comes at everything from a moral stance that he is happy with. I'm happy to listen and debate and disagree. Far better that than the tabloid drivel that is encroaching on the BBC website week by week.
CS writes for the Daily Mail.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 5:53 pmThat literally did make me lol.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 4:55 pmCan't believe no one called you out for this, you absolute plebian. Not sure that's helpful. For some that would be a resounding insult. Insults don't add to the debate do they?Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 6:20 pmCS writes for the Daily Mail.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 5:53 pmThat literally did make me lol.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 4:55 pm

But perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps CS would be overjoyed to be (or compared to) a Mail writer. Who knows!
She can't get a one-to-one course to tell her that speeding is illegal and inadvisable. So she's going to pay the fine and take the points.
Marvelous integrity. Break the law, try to swerve the worst consequence and then give in and take your punishment. Excellent behaviour for a Home Secretary, leading by example.
Her excuse was that it wouldn't be practical to have her protection officers with her at the course, but as far as I can see, it would only require a few more chairs or they could stand by the door, so she could still suffer her humiliation.greenmark wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 1:40 pmShe can't get a one-to-one course to tell her that speeding is illegal and inadvisable. I have a mate who was paid to go on one of these courses for someone else (which is a criminal offence). Just imagine turning up and finding yourself sitting next to the home secretary.
It seems to me that even the right wing media vultures are circling around the govt now. Every single sniff of a story and they're all over it.
