Johnson has already started to look at standing for a safer seat, so maybe not get your hopes up too much.
He said he went to a private hospital for a scan, was apologetic for being half an hour late, but they didn't care because they only had a couple of scans all day while people on the NHS are dying/waiting months for theirs. It triggered him into offering to pay for 10-20 scans.
Who cares? 13 years of corrupt incompetence and we focus on this. How many times can this lot screw up without the population thinking "Sheesh, can Labour be any worse?". My answer is I would like to find out. Because I am sick of my government.
Labour may not be in government but they're still exposed to sleaze and scandal, like the so-called beergate, but whenever an MP gets into hot water it's almost a given it's a Tory. They just don't have the money-grabbing narcissistic have what I want instincts of the Conservative party.
13 years in charge and only after the media and opposition points out that the NHS is in crisis do they allocate £1billion of previously announced £6 billion to 5000 new NHS beds and 800 ambulances. But still no plan for who will be supporting those beds or manning those ambulances.
They are incompetent. Starmer is 1.42 to be next PM, but Johson is 2nd at 9.0/ Fair enough not a mature market at this stage. But still, how can BJ be 2nd best option? I despair of our nation sometimes. How often do you need to bang your head against a wall before you realise it's not a good idea?
Not a promising read!
