You could argue that they are more dangerous now because they are taken at greater speed.

I've been collecting data on the races since they lowered the fences, and the horses are running faster than they did before at the fences because they are lower.

TBH it is much nicer watching with fences lower knowing that fallers and Jockeys will take less impact. I Traded Maximus pre off £400 net Greened up £52 was in two minds to just let it run as Free Trade/Bet wish i did but at least £52 more in bank growing for Dante meeting. :D
