I guess they're not merging with TPD. About 400 AUD per month for UK and US with them

Yeah I think TPD offering AU stuff is dead in the water, the AU race clubs just make it too expensive for it to be viable for them.

Edit - I double checked the numbers, $8000 set up fee for each jurisdiction (inclusive of historic data) and $4000 per month per jurisdiction for the live data, which was shopped to me as 50% off the usual $8000.

Yeah nuts. I contacted them also, wonder if I get the 50% off too lol

The data is unusable, similar tech to CourseTrack with no correction combine that with the dreadful liquidity and the edge is non existent.

I hope you didn't have to pay for the sample Linus?

BZ from racing dot com bets in the run on betfair. He uses the live feed in studio. Probably not a very fair thing but has been doing it for years and still continues to this day

Thought I might as well mention the elephant in the room re inplay betting and see what others think..

I think I'm pretty well across all the available feed methods, satellite feeds, TAB app, guys going on track and using the raw screens or even sitting in the stand. But I'll just come out and say I think employees of these vision providers are getting access to the raw vision and using it. As soon as Racing dot com got WA, the tracks over there started behaving exactly like Vic & SA.

Also as a cost cutting method TAB or Sky are getting race callers to call remotely, so they are obviously sitting at home or in a studio with access to raw vision. I suspect they might be able to tap into that whenever they want and are either using it or forwarding it to others.

Another anomaly today.. race 1 @ Te Aroha NZ.. Sky didn't even show the race, Sky 1 was blokes yapping and Sky 2 had some US trots. I pulled up the vision on NZracing using a VPN.. Interestingly Betfair still turned the market inplay and closed it on time, but the kicker was someone willing to scoop all the 1.01 on the winner. Very interesting seeing BF is supposedly banned there, and it was 6 degrees and pelting down rain trackside.

Nearly every time a NZ race doesn't have vision on Sky, BF just suspend the market straight away.. which makes me wonder. There were clearly two people who could see the race live... the person placing the bets and the person who knew when to turn the race inplay & suspend... Food for thought.. I note racing dot com show NZ vision sometimes too

I don't play Australian racing, but I'm sure Betfair have direct raw feeds that they use for market management of UK, Ireland and US races. On the rare occasion of normal streams missing or significantly delayed Betfair almost always still manage the market correctly.
Leicester 16:35 there was no end-user stream available across any of the betting platforms that I tried, yet Betfair were able to manage the market as usual.

How much are Triple S quoting you?
We had a lot of conversations with Triple S. I think it must have been about a year ago or something, but it never came to anything.

Just fired up Bet Angel after a week away. The Australian races are all going in play well before the vision and the market is being suspended when the leaders are still at the 200m mark (usually almost at the post).
Anybody else having the same problem, or is it me?

What are you viewing the vision on? If it's the TAB app, they've switched the slow and fast vision around, the fast feeds are now on the right instead of the default player.

Does anyone know if there are any paid satellite feeds still floating about? I'm wanting to check how far behind live my vision is for NSW/VIC/SA races, I have a feeling I'm much further behind than I think! Something drastic has changed for me in the past couple of weeks and I'm at a loss to explain it.

Two Mondays ago they did something with the TAB app that slowed it by a couple of seconds.. I have a really old iPad that was still working slightly ahead of every other device but that evened up this Monday just gone.

No VIC meetings on satellite anymore, SA like hen's teeth and feels like every NSW meeting in the bush gets abandoned. My best guess would be for Metro NSW TAB app prob 4 ish seconds behind live now and then a joint like Moruya etc add another 2-3 secs.. hence why I was saying earlier these guys getting near raw feeds stick out like dog's balls
