at 15:30 - there are 4 races with the same starting time. 2 Irish an 2 from uk. Why are the races so time packed? At least one more hour should be added and time between races at some meetings increased to 35, 40, 45min. Or times like in US should be used: 15:33, 15:37.

Not for me, I never trade Bank Holidays let alone Boxing Day. I have the house to myself, a roaring log fire, a few bottles of Bateman's Rosey Nosey and more boxes of chocolate than you could shake a stick at.

I shall lay Kauto Star and if he wins then good luck to him, I'll open another Rosey Nosey

Nothing special to report, but working OK. Some very low volumes on the smaller races.

Had a good day today but only traded 13 races to now. Have learnt on days like today to pick and choose the races prior to racing. I deliberatley remove the ones I don't want to trade in Guardian.

Because of RacingUK coverage there are clever timings at Maydan. Why not use the same method on Boxing Day, or other bank holidays?

So at 20:20 (Dundalk) this evening, where were the horses? Sauntering round the paddock with not a care in the world.

At 20:25, the horses finally arrived at the post and just sauntered around for a while.

Finally, they loaded the horses into the stalls and the race got under way over 9 mins late.

Ok, there were no clashes with other races - but I doubt whether it would have been any different had there been.

Had they got their finger out, they could have started on time, more or less - BUT THEY DIDN'T.

What's the point of a race schedule?

Would be good if they could ditch the 2 afternoon meeting days we have had recently and have next week. Would sooner one blank day and one day with 3.
