Time for me to try and popularise my terminolgy again, "grey-i" Its like AI but happens in your grey matter. It's impossible to teach and as impossible to define even if it could be taught.
Trading What I see !?

Care to ID which two they were Peter. I've got a notification on YouTube for any new vids from you. I would like to know if YT flagged them for me to view.

Trying out some In-Play trades, results for the last 2 days. Fully automated, adapting one of Dallas's shared IP files.

Must admit, I half thought about IP yesterday as close to calling day on pre-race, it seems too hardwearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:37 pmTrying out some In-Play trades, results for the last 2 days. Fully automated, adapting one of Dallas's shared IP files.

I found quite early on Pre-race to be a bit tricky and very much price dependant on the favourite. I only tend to look at races pre when the favourite is short priced. In-Play, is fast and furious, but manageable when you catch the momentum movement correctly and get in and out of the trade quickly.goat68 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:57 pmMust admit, I half thought about IP yesterday as close to calling day on pre-race, it seems too hardwearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:37 pmTrying out some In-Play trades, results for the last 2 days. The IP trader is a good visual aid for that, but the right set up with automation will always be better and more efficient.

Done some research.. do realise it's a high reward:risk, but should be a high strike rate, this is my main area of concern...

Why did you stop yesterday after the 1510 ?
What’s on the pnl after 1510 that you don’t want us to see, is that when the steam roller moved in ?!
I'll just continue this shall I then...? Shaun, you've tried to help me a lot and thank you, however I think there's one lesson we can both learn here that maybe trying to fit one person's trading method to another may not work as the method has to fit that person, i've tried your ideas but failed...ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 5:30 amgoat68 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:57 pmMust admit, I half thought about IP yesterday as close to calling day on pre-race, it seems too hardwearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:37 pmTrying out some In-Play trades, results for the last 2 days. IMO, with B2L, the jury's out on that one, but some traders do very well with it.goat68 wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 10:24 amThanks, i'm taking a look at this IP, and going to give Peter's strategy here a go this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN1WkDSNkrUwearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 5:57 pmAn example of one IP race today. At this stage I like to monitor/watch the trade(s) as it happens. With Betfair's record of downtime and other shenanigans, I'm not ready to let if go without supervision.

So you got a bot that wins on 42 of the last 43 races, though you decide to turn it off mid way through the racing, just in case of an outage ?!
