So far so good, PnL, changed number of ticks taken today which is "kink":

Waiting for the first loss to come.... :!:
Making no excuse for being nosey, what is it that you're doing? :) The way you talk about strike rate makes me think you're backing or laying pre-off and only looking for a couple of ticks in-running.
Just following this dodgy geezer on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN1WkDSNkrU
Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole if I were you...!!

Tomorrow's selections lock and loaded! Only took me 40mins analysis this time, getting quicker!

2 days, 29 wins 0 losses and +£28 so got some headroom for 2-3 losses, which I am sure will come tomorrow, 29wins in a row is well above expected, which I estimate I should lose 1 in 15, so should get 3 losers tomorrow!

L2B or B2L is probably more like just "betting" than pure trading, any "edge" is purely in your selections really, but Guardian certainly fits the bill for it.

All trading is 'just' betting but not all betting is trading.

Is L2B & B2L any different to what you were doing before? Looks like gambling on price moves on certain selected horses still. But you're just doing it in the second phase of the market instead of the first. Admittedly I wasn't interested enough to watch a 19min video to find out how it could be different ;)

I do realise now, it's all about finding "value" in the long term, but that is very difficult to know. Peter's Betdaq video clip, basically says bet at a good "price", obvious really, but how do you know?

"value" is basically "net opinion price", so to know whether there is value you've got to know on average who else is having an opinion...and what they are thinking... "crystal ball" time, impossible!

well not quite, it's psychology, you can have a rough idea based on crowd psychology

but then that's very difficult to automate... manual and soft "brain" skills help a lot there. I only have time for automation, so maybe this is the end for me :?:
