Steamers 📉 v 📈 Drifters

Few different things to consider; if either the drifter or steamer were near a crossover, how many runners were drifting or steaming (i.e Is it a 2 v 1 situation) and if there were any significant backing patterns earlier in the card.
Most of the time though I'd look for the drifter.

Preference is to look for a selection in race that has an overall weakness, compared to the other runners, then look for confirmation that it is likely to drift. When they do, they really drift within a big range. When they don't, cut and run, as the market has other ideas.
Semi automation, for me, works better. ie: Nominate selection, allow automation to confirm drift, place trade, monitor, stay in/cut&run manually.
