I was distracted by the US Masters yesterday. With Rose well in front I'm going to spend a bit more effort on Aintree today.

Sort of wish I was, think it was the worst opening day of Aintree I've had in years

Is there a super-duper Excel sheet with the extra rows available for the big one?

Grand National market is unusually tight at the moment. If you want to get a bet on or dutch, not a terrible time to do so.

Be interesting to see what people think will actually win the race?????

I have always loved Bristol De Mai.

Bookies betting turnover on this year's National must surely be down when you think of the millions of once a year punters not being able to wander into a betting shop. Can't see many of them opening an online account just to have a bet.

My pal owns a local bookies... for the last year he's operated using telephone accounts with all the old boys that usually spend the afternoon in the lounge etc.

Nice for them to still get there fix! Especially when most wouldn't know how to place a bet online!

The winner should be from top 4 in betting in my view, with Cloth Cap almost nailed on if he stays up.

Burrows, Minella, Any Second: all great chances. They should place if they stay up.

Yala Enki, Kimberlight and Farclas for the 7 and 10 places paid options.

That's my tuppence worth anyhow. : - )
