Good luck for this week everyone

12'000 race goers allow to attend each day this year, so should be a somewhat more normal feel to last year, still no royal procession but Queen expected to attend 3 days with other members of the royal family filling in around the others

Only the 2 Euro games today starting at 1700 UK so expect volume to dip at Ascot 1 hour before the match starts.

Will be interesting to see how it trades this year. It was very mixed last year as it was so jumbled.

Footy usually knocks a few quid off and this year will still be a bit different. Will be interesting for sure!

Short priced Frankie winner is probably a useful start for punters.

A lot of money for Oxted on the 15:40, did anyone expect that?

3 winners for high drawn horse, the stand side appears to have the best ground on the straight track as well. I think that's the trading strategy for me, until the rain comes on Thursday ...

Might have something to do with the hanging doubts over Battaash & his fitness. I read on the RP last night that there was slight concern because some felt he had been rushed back.

Wouldn't Surprise me if Lucky Vega & Highland Avenue both get backed in hard here.

Turnover is very disappointing so far. I've been struggling to get decent sums matched.

£10.7m versus £15.6m in 2020. That's a big decline (-31%) especially when you consider we had a 1/3 favourite in one of those races.

(These are post time volumes as that's longest and most reliable data I have)

Is this the 2nd big meeting with really low volume... there may be a trend. I did'nt think on course money (or that much of it) made it to the Exchange?.
