Does betfair horse positions change depending on traded volume?

Do the betfair runner positions change according to how much traded volume is on each horse or are they fixed throughout?

Generally sorted in order of favourtism and left that way, but they do refresh that now and again.

In Australian they sort by saddlecloth number.

Do you know if naming a stored value the same name but assigned to a different selected runners conflict if the position moves?

So if I used a value name "vol" on all runners. Would that start changing where the info goes if the positions move?
