Trouble at Aintree as protesters try to get onto the track and clash with police

It looks like the protesters are all wearing the same t-shirts so makes the police job slightly easier :D

Shame they aren't protesting about The National overround,- would love to hear the commentators comments on that...

I've watched none of it but direct action by protestors always brings up mixed feelings for me even when I do not support the cause in question as its a reminder I don't yet live in a totalitarian state.

I was thinking to myself this morning protesting and holding up traffic on a motorway is one thing - but pissing off tens of thousands of scousers on one of their biggest days of the year for the city wasn't the brightest idea

Ironically the delay was less than what you get on a daily basis at Newmarket races

HORRIFIC! PURE THEFT! and needs broadcasters to call it for what it is, I just looked at 2 random Grand Nationals from about 30 years ago that Mr Frisk ran in (won one) 130% and 131% overrounds

The broadcasters are all in bed with the fixed odds betting companies from what I can see

You tell friends that you get much better odds on the exchange and they're not bothered, so they can continue to get ripped off imo

If the Grand National book % is not a solid argument for the viability of an exchange I don't know what it is. But with PaddyPower being a bookie themselves it won't get amplified at all.
