Yes, subject to reduction factors, but it's usually short-priced withdrawals that shake up your P/L position.

All bets on a withdrawn horse are void, any bets on other runners are subject to a reduction factor depending on the odds of the withdrawn runner at the time
I thought, perhaps mistakenly, that "that horse" referred to the favourite. :)
