Strange run by Energumene shocking jumping, but provided plenty of opportunity to trade in play. Got the job done in the end. Thinking about it now, Chacun Pour Soi was a big price.

It doesn't matter whether it won by a nose or 10 lengths - it won. Think about it ;)

It makes all the difference. You don't make a long term living gambling on the liklihood of a missed stride on false ground. You get the job done before marginal uncertainties become a deciding factor.

Bu you can make a long term living out of gambling - there's plenty of gamblers out there to prove it or disprove it.
it's impossible to remove uncertainties at any stage of the process

I know you can make a living from gambling, either straight bets or bets you call trades. I've been betting for 40yrs so I'm not wet behind the ears. You don't remove uncertainty, you manage it. But you do it your way.

Totally agree. I always try to 'green' my bets. :)

In all the gambling white paper chat I've just seen they've moved The Derby to 1:30pm to allow for the FA Cup final. May as well of moved it to the Sunday, racing has completely lost the plot.

There's been a lot of quite interesting bets across the card recently. (1:40 Warwick)

Who knows eh, there's been some big offers floating around on the longshots (3k at 50 etc) not just the 5 figure numbers on the favs so someone's having some fun.
