You had to laugh when the commentator said he was worried about having enough to say with just two runners.

Jumps field sizes look to be really struggling already. Maybe they will pick up as season goes on, though it looks like 3 runner, match races and even walkovers might be quite common this winter over jumps.

Flat racing field sizes have got bigger again, though they always seem to back end of season, and it’s mostly low grade stuff too which always attracts more runners.

That's one of the things that I find frustrating in the jumps season. There are lots of null races for me.
