Belmont video was listed on Betdaq, but the site is currently offline for maintenance.

They didn't load racing from Doomben, Warwick Farm, Devonport or Oakbank.
Thank you for checking 🙂

Sorry, I actually meant to check the speed of the video from Kilcoy or Moruya this morning but got sidetracked.

They are showing Pakenham as having video - will test the next race (compare to my local TV, which I know is 7 secs behind)

Result : Its tailed off - at least 20 secs behind live

Just looking for a bit of confirmation with regards to NSW racing.

Am I correct in thinking if I just do Lay bets and don't close my trade that I will not open myself up for extra fees? I won't be greening or taking a closing SP.

It is simply Lay and walk away

TIA

Question for fellow Australians with a satellite dish, anyone want to sell me a Facetime or Zoom feed of the harness racing on Optus D1/D2? I have a very niche strategy so don't believe I'd be treading on anyone's toes (could be wrong of course lol). But if anyone has access and would like to make some cash please PM 🙂

In play is so dead. There's been a huge decline since Covid in 2020.

Nothing like delayed racing to mess up your AUS bots!

How does that impact your betting?

It would cost Betfair virtually nothing to add a few seats to their market management team and get them to send some kind of 'race imminent' signal via API when the gate is loading or something similar. Then everyone could have their bots run to that signal instead of being forced to use scheduled off-time. This would extend the period of pre-off liquidity.

I cant speak for anyone else but for me when they put the races back 30mins it messes my bots as I want them to enter at say 2 mins before the off which is now 32 mins pre off, so no money in there. It can be costly as the market is far from formed.

I added a volume condition if at 2 mins before the off if there is less than $10k on the race then no bet. Just means it basically takes that meeting out of my days trading.

What about BetAngel paying a person to manually adjust Australian and UK races startimes in realtime?

No thank you, my automation does great when the schedules are screwed up thanks to all the dumb bots :D
