Looks like some really cool weather on the Eastern seaboard.

Interesting how Betfair now puts races in-play, even when the start isn't televised on the blue channel. I'd love to know what feed they have.

Was a Mildura race earlier too where short fav was 1.2X ish and then last 30 seconds crunch layed out to 1.55 last price I saw. Quick look at the graph seemed about 15k to push it out that quickly. Was expecting a dodgy drive but rolled to the front and walked in... strange stuff but I'm here for it

Only saw him 1 race at Wagin.

fav pre-race 1.9 - poor start, travelled 4 wide, but going strong and about to take it up going into the bend.

Offered 5k or so at 2.3 .. danced up.

Hope hes back tomorrow.

There was also what I perceived as maybe dodgy race for a long time.

4 horse race - fav a strong 1.38 on Tab, 1.45 on Bf.

Jumps 2 lengths in front, and a $20k chunk to lay at 1.65 and then 1.75.

Just finished 2nd, 3 l behind easily 8/1 pre race 3rd fav.

Looked a little odd.

Yep I think you're talking about that one at Roeburn..

Looked too good to be true, and was. I couldn't resist.

Why would't he lay the 20k at 1.45 pre race? The money hit the market as soon as turned inplay

QLD assures us that it 'is not a tax on punters'. Of course bookmakers will not pass on their increased costs of doing business.

Got a mate on track at Coffs Harbour today. He said he spotted someone with a laptop that had a real time (or near enough to it) feed of the parade ring on it pre race 1. Coffs isn't usually available on the sat pics so looks like someone has managed to get their hands on the TAB raw feed. Apparently also had 2 spotters about halfway down the straight.

Thanks. Explains why Coffs was so sharp. Goulburn not so much. The raw feed is definitely slightly ahead of radio because whenever the caller says something like 'Black Caviar is cruising' the price will crash just as he is finishing saying that via AM radio.

Had previously grouped US/AUS together but after tonight I noticed a slight difference, and a new version of something which still works in US, better in fact, is not working in AUS, it's like there are marginally less ppl playing the AUS market and my variables must have been defined right on the edge of what worked in both, and appears I managed to just tip the balance with latest change.

Am I correct in thinking there aren't data feeds available for AUS tracks (similar to TPD) -- including for tab/bookmakers etc. such as on-screen visualisation ?
