I just returned from Brisbane and the Sunny Coast, where wearing masks for the first time was very unsual. I reckon I turned up at the supermarket about 5 times without my mask. It was so hard to learn a new habit. I think they seem like a good idea, though.

We are doing the opposite at the moment. Trying to get used to not wearing masks.

I'm 27 and only in the past few weeks been able to have a second dose of vaccine. So it's been a slow process. We seem only 6-8 weeks away from everyone who wants to be vaccinated being able.

We can't hide from the virus forever, so there's a bit of anxiety of what's to come. Hopefully the vaccines, medications etc can keep improving and there's limited risk for even elderly people. After all, you can't eliminate all risk.

A disturbance in the force.

Yep that’s how good the Australian racing is today - early start for Peter.

My strategy is (pretty much) maxed out. Before anyone asks, I’ve turned up the volume and all that does is move me from green to red.

It’s all about goldilocks settings.

Did Cranbourne r3 go in play 7 seconds early, checked my computer time and all is good but the live feed clock says went off past off time

Thanks I thought it did, not what you'd expect from a good Vic track, the reason I don't manually touch NT these days as that shit happens almost every meeting up there.

FWIW, the 3rd at Cloncurry or something similar went into play about 15 secs early.

The race itself went on time; it was Betfair who went way too early.

I've only seen races jump early a few times. However, Betfair does it semi-frequentely.
